As it seeks to do God’s will in Ethiopia, Ezra Rural Ministry relies on the faithful prayers of His people. Now you too may join with those who faithfully pray for this work. Below, is a list of the needs of the ministry, its director, staff, volunteers, students, their families, churches, and the rural communities in which they serve.
- The Ministry - Pray for the fulfillment of the Mission Statement
...Pray that God would provide all the support needed to sustain and build Ezra Rural Ministry and its training center
...Pray for the expansion of its programs and projects
- The Director, Staff, and Volunteers - Pray that every staff vacancy would be filled and that volunteers would step forth
...Pray that those who serve would be encouraged and strengthened to persevere
...Pray for the health of the director, staff, volunteers, and their families
...Pray for improvements in transportation and communication within the ministry
- The Students - Pray for students in the next term's Certificate, Diploma, and Teacher classes
...Pray for students as they do field ministry back in their home villages
...Pray for the health of the students and their families
- The Churches - Pray for the leadership in these small, rural churches in which the students serve
...Pray that God would raise up those who can disciple new believers
...Pray that nothing, not even persecution, would hinder the growth of these churches
- The Communities - Pray that God would open hearts to the Gospel in the unbelieving populations of Addis Ababa, Hosanna, Butajira, Tiya, Naziret, Wolkite and their surrounding rural villages
...Pray that the goal of 500 Ethiopian unbelievers hearing the Gospel, and 100 receiving Christ as their Savior, would be reached by 2011
...Pray for an improvement in the water supply and in sanitation practices
