WHY DID JESUS THE SON OF GOD COME TO EARTH?

![]() Why did Jesus the son of God come to earth?
Jesus Christ came to earth with two missions; - That men may have fellowship with the father and his son Jesus Christ and with one another. Because of disobedient, our fellowship with God was broken and also fellowship with our fellow men. That is the reason in history we learn of wars, nation against nation; individuals against individuals and squabbles in families. Jesus the son of God came to earth to show that we can know God personally and fellowship with Him. Through Him we are acceptable to God. God cares for us like the way a shepherd cares for his ship. We only need to cast our problems upon Him and trust Him to help us in meeting our needs. Our needs include strength to conquer the trials and temptations of this life. We have a blessed assurance that He will always deliver us. - That our joy may be full. In certain occasions people are happy. This depends entirely on what has happened or happening at that particular time. This happiness is not Joy. Joy is the inner gladness; a deep seated pleasure which does not depend on circumstances. Joy is divine. That means it is only possessed and given by God alone. It is the kind of gladness that you feel inwardly when you learn that God has forgiven your sins and you are destined for heaven. There are many sources of joy: Prayer- John 16:24 Presence and fellowship of believers -1 John 1:3-4 Hearing that others walk in truth – (3 John: 4) and many others. Ezradevotionalministries.com |
