Ezra Rural Ministry Team Africa - Dereje Shiferaw, founder and director of Ezra Rural Ministry in Ethiopia, Africa, currently lives in the country's capital, Addis Ababa, with his wife, Gete, and their daughters, Meklit and Eden. Dereje is a graduate of an Amharic Certificate Training School and of the Evangelical Theological College in Ethiopia.

A Closer Look at Members of the Team - David and Becky (Meseret) Peck Mantha had been friends for years, ever since David's pastor and his wife, Rev. Paul and Cyndi Peck, adopted Becky and brought her home from Ethiopia. After a number of years, the friendship between David and Becky blossomed into love and they were married on May 12, 2007. David and Becky epitomize the relationship that can form when two diverse cultures share a common bond.
