About Ezra Rural Ministry
OUR MISSION: Our mission is three fold. We purpose to follow in the steps of the prophet Ezra, specifically to bring spiritual revival and renewal among the rural churches of Ethiopia. We accomplish this by training and developing rural pastors, equipping them in: discipleship, evangelism, church planting and community health. By this we build up the body of Christ through ministry that honors our God and serves the rural people of Ethiopia in both spiritual and practical ways.

OUR VISION: The vision of Ezra Rural Ministry in Africa is to someday see every rural village church in Ethiopia being led by indigenous believers who are willing to take on the mantle of church leadership themselves. These are men and women who have been called of God to teach, preach, and evangelize, and who have been trained and equipped to disciple others to do the same. The vision of Ezra Rural Ministry in the USA is to see that our shared mission is fully supported both prayerfully and financially so that nothing hinders the Gospel of Jesus Christ from reaching the borders of Ethiopia and even beyond.
HISTORY: The story of the birth of this unique ministry describes how God called together two ordinary men to do an extraordinary thing in Ethiopia.

WHAT WE BELIEVE: The Word of God, commonly known as the Bible or the Holy Scriptures, is the foundation document for all that Ezra Rural Ministry considers as truth.

 ACCOUNTABILITY: Ezra Rural Ministry believes that good stewardship in every aspect of ministry is important to fulfilling our mission and seeing our vision become a reality. Oversight and fund management are carried out both in Ethiopia and the USA.
